  HANGUP

  .  Summary

  hangup();

  .  Description

  The hangup function tries to hang-up the modem, exactly as if the
  user had pressed Alt-H while in terminal mode. This is accomplished
  by first dropping (turning off) a signal called the DTR line, and if
  that is unsuccessful, sending the hang-up string defined in the
  configuration menu.

  .  Return Value

  A non-zero (TRUE) value is returned if the hang-up is successful,
  otherwise a zero (FALSE) value is returned.
